Car chase leads to serious injuries
A Chester man is in the hospital after a car chase in North Springfield on Saturday, according to police.

Police said 25-year-old Adam Creasy of Chester was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire after he crashed his vehicle following a chase on Route 10 in North Springfield.

According to police, an officer on patrol tried to pull Creasy over for a motor vehicle violation. Police said Creasy accelerated and began weaving onto both sides of the road while failing to yield to lights and siren. He forced oncoming traffic off the road, police said.

At the intersection of Route 10 and Main Street in North Springfield, police said Creasy lost control of his vehicle and traveled into a wooded area where he overturned several times.

Creasy was transported to the Springfield Hospital before being transferred to the New Hampshire hospital with serious injuries.

Police said they are continuing to investigate the incident.
